Shoe Size

When it comes to shoe, there's no free size, as one size doesnt fit all.

We need to try wearing it, wriggle our toes around, catwalk a little to see whether it feels comfortable.

Sometimes you may feel that you can sympatise with those wearing heels with a plaster sticking out, while at times you may wonder in awe how one can walk gracefully with that pair of heels on.

This is all but illusion.

The former may feel perfectly fine with plaster as a daily form of accessories while the latter may be struggling with internal pain but yet pretending that its really really fine.

It is difficult to put yourself in other people's shoes. You need to take that pair of shoe and walk in it. Yes, walk in it till there is wear and tear and its only then you can gain a better understanding of what other people have went through.

So the next time before you said 'yes i can understand what you went through', do you really understand?

At that point of time you may have thought so. But wait till you walk the same pair of shoe then you will truly understand what that means.

The process may be painful but I am thankful that it didnt last long.

Back to Basics

Have a strong foundation and see how you can apply that under different tough circumstances.

The fundamentals dont change. Think logically and transform that thought into an amazing end product.

Sometimes we are afraid because we dont have the knowledge to execute, or dont have the capacity to bring out a point that we know.

'Things' that we hold deeply to our hearts are what affected us most.

Dont let whatever that may comes along take away that pure innocent heart of yours.

Reaching almost end of quarter 2, have we get to where we want to be?

Solid & Liquid

Dont let ourselves be limited by the structure. We should push ourselves to the boundaries and try whatever possible options - only then we will know whether it works! Pls put in more effort in this.

When the well is empty and we try to draw water from it, how do we ensure that there is constant supply of water source? We need to dig harder and deeper.

Adopt a 360 degree approach, step in and step out, flip around - to look from different angles.

Set small achievable targets. It doesnt hurt to take a step a day, it may just take you a longer time to reach to the destination but hey, at least its an inch moved.

Just get your butt off the chair and move - lah!

Solutions for 10 year series?

I failed to answer a '10 year series question'.
Somehow I knew that it will be asked, but I choose to let it go. I thought by doing so will be the best answer but seems otherwise.

Since its already over, no point crying over spilled milk. The other party may not feel any better either, and by looking from the biggest stakeholder's perspective, may the best person win. It may be a blessing in disguise for another person. I hope it will be a win win situation for all of us.

Studies have shown that we should spend more time to further build on our strengths to move ourselves further rather than to spend equal amount of time trying to improve on our weaknesses, which may be a marginal return compared to the vast amount of effort being put in. I guess sufficient effort has to be put in to improve on weaknesses to an acceptable level and pushing our strengths to a much higher level. Seems quite true to a large extent by looking at the people around. But first, we need to identify our strengths and weaknesses. How well do you know yourself?

When we load ourselves with more things/ emotions, we need to let go some as well. Otherwise it may get too overwhelming and end up getting screwed.

Question of the week: How can we create value?
