Celebrating Labor Day...
... by Enjoying the Simple Pleasures of Life!

The WSC OVE gang decided to venture to JB, Malaysia to celebrate Labor Day!
Just when you thought that staying in City Square sounds bored, especially when i was about to tell you we stayed there for the whole day, take a look at the pictures and you may have a second thought =)

Gathered at Woodlands MRT around 9am before we board bus 950 to cross the custom. This was my first trip being suspended, resume and suspended again haha! Being a good kiddo, there's no termination dont worry heh.

Reached City Square almost 12 noon due to the jam, kinda expected that since its public holiday. Headed straight to Kim Gary restaurant with high recommendations from Ronald.

They have more varieties displayed in their menu compared to the ones in sgp. We spent quite some time browsing through before placing our order from the Fish Market menu for lunch.

This is the Norwegian Salmon blah blah blah... We came up with the idea of tagging these food to us so that those who missed out on the good food would be able to get the share as well haha.
Corn = Sherlyn
Tomato = Thong Loon
Brocoli = Kelly
Salmon = Wei Ching
Calamari = Pho
Prawn = Ian
Clam = Ronald
Wedges = Me
What's after a satisfying meal? A group photo of course!

Its time to do some retail therapy for digestion heh. Didnt know trying a pair of shoes could be so much fun! Mu Yang Papa commented that my foot looked bandage, and we were all so proud of this master piece that we had to signify victory for it.

Yes, we were still in this shoe shop taking more pics, as Sherlyn commented that the backdrop looks good with the sunshine wor.
As we proceed up to the last level, we went to check out the movies cost and schedule. Checking the cost required abit more skill, where we peeped at the screen when others were making payment heh. Since it cost only RM10, we immediately bought tix for the movie, Uninvited. Had a laugh when we settled down in the theare, as the 3rd row from the front was really very front! Even the 1st row from the front back home wasnt that front ya know?
Dinner was at the sizzling stone grill restaurant and it was testing our patience as cooking and slicing the meat was found to be very tedious! Not for the lazy bums and aching arms, for we had to repeatedly turn the meat round so that it wouldnt get stick on to the stone grill.
Gave up on the usual flipping and we started exploring innovative ways of cooking, such as slicing the meat and stir fry it! We had so much fun that any vegetables that came along the way were not spared.
Presenting to you our master piece...

Smiley!

Sad

Sad with eye brow

O shape mouth

Funky fido dido

Nothing much left as most food were cooked already when we reached the final master piece
'Playing' with the food not only entertained us, it also ensured that the food were stir fried and thoroughly cooked, with additional flavorings from the vegetables hee. We were good farmers who dont waste food, and to end this off, we headed to our 2nd round at Secret Recipe next door.

The ramen girl was on the big screen, and we have the lasagne guy right here!

Sherlyn started using the leftover creams on the cakes as her play dough.

Our love love to Wei Ching!
After a whole day at City Square, here's the verdict from the nuasters:
Lets meet at City Square instead of City Hall for our next gathering haha! Eat, sing, movie - you name it, they have it!
