Spending my first valentine's day overseas. kinda like the feeling of being in a cold country on such a romantic day, where there isnt any sky scrappers around the neighbourhood, birds soaring in the sky, beautiful flowers everywhere... the world just smiles back at you. the only problem lies with my date. mr managerial accounting. he just loves to stick around, especially on important occasion like today to show his appearance. i'll be spending quality time with him... oh how so romantic can it be...
had a valentine's day dinner cooked by chef Ray and Tiran, followed by pudding for desserts! had the marshmellow chocolate thingie and it was really chocolatey-soft! exchanged gifts and they had a good laugh about my cannot make it chinese. i really wrote a lot of wrong chinese characters that had similar pronounciations and most of the time i wrote the words by guessing heehee. felt sad that i couldnt write like last time, not that i used to have a flair in chinese, but at least i can say there's less mistakes made in those days as compared to now.
went to Simon's room to kpo and oh my... i cant believe that this kind of ambience can be created in Acacia Court haha. the settings and music felt so like a jazz kind of restaurant, with the wine glasses, porcelain plates, roses... its just so unbelievable! really sweet of them to come up with such idea to celebrate in Acacia. i'll give a 5 star rating!
reflections: lotsa emotions today, probably coz its valentine's day. had a joyful tear or two. felt so touched by everyone's gentures and i can feel that love is really in the air. not that gifts are needed to remind people that you are loved, but its just another nice gesture that warms your heart. in fact, its actually the little details that have accumulated by itself unknowingly and creeps out unintentionally on valentine's day, a day where you'll be reminded of the sweet little gestures from your loved ones.
love builds a bridge between us when we are miles apart.
